Usage Tips/Limitations

Easy setup for tattoos, makeup, scars, clothing etc.
This is an empty mt5 that when applied from the Material Room, allows you to set up any secondskin overlay with your preferred texture underneath. The image maps are labeled for easy use. Just apply the mt5 to the desired body part, then browse in the appropriate imagemaps.
Apply to each affected body part. The preview might look strange but it will render fine.

For this setup to work, you will need the underlying texture, the secondskin color texture, & a secondskin transparency mask(white on black background).

If you want simply a single-color overlay, delete the SecSkinTex & change the color of its node to your desired color. you can also lower the blending rate if you want a more transparent or softer effect for the overlay.

If your mask is Black-On-White-background, switch the SecSkinTex & BodyTex node connections.

This is just a simple Blender setup, but i've found it handy & hope others will too. It'll work for any Figure, prop or object where you want to apply an overlay.

Thank you for choosing my work.

since you never know what the future holds, i've decided that all my freebies (retroactive to the first ones) may be freely shared & redistributed as long as the zip remains complete, you host it on your own server & don't hotlink to my puny bandwidth, & no money exchanges hands (unless of course it's MY hot little hands). so please enjoy & please use my humble offerings, & think of me when i'm gone......
